Complete Books

This Section of the Bygone Illustrated is still under construction, but in the near future we will be featuring a series of wonderful books ranging from the canonical to the obscure for your reading pleasure.  Many story papers such as the New York Ledger and Harper's Weekly were the first outlets of for novelists such as George William Curtis, Charles Dickens, E.D.E.N Southworth, and many others.  Below is an incomplete collection of pages from Charles Dicken’s Novel A Tale of Two Cities, they come from Harper’s Weekly Vol. III No. 125-136 and appear here exactly as readers saw them in 1859.
